Who won the NASCAR O'Reilly Series race at Charlotte? Ross Chastain is the winner, plus full NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series results at Charlotte.

Ross Chastain earned the win in the bizarre Charbroil 300 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race on May 23 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Chastain was the race leader after 91 laps, as NASCAR called the race one lap after the second stage ended and made the race official by the rule book. Chastain was among several drivers who slapped the wall in turns 1 and 2 on Lap 74 while driving through fluid laid down by another car the lap prior.

Fog and mist continued to set in on the track during the caution, and NASCAR opted to run the final laps of Stage 2 under caution to make the race official over another red flag period and a possible resumption on another day. The race was delayed by 4 hours, 25 minutes due to rain after 33 laps before the race was restarted at 10 p. m.

Eastern/9 p. m. Central.
