Thunder injury updates: Ajay Mitchell, Jalen Williams Game 4 status revealed
Ajay Mitchell and Jalen Williams of the Oklahoma City Thunder are listed on the injury report for Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell has been ruled out for Game 4 of the Western Conference finals. Mitchell started seven of the Thunder’s 11 playoff games as a replacement for Jalen Williams in the starting lineup. Mitchell finished fifth in the Sixth Man of the Year voting.
He had his lowest scoring performance of the postseason on Friday, producing just two points and one assist in 17 minutes of play. He's been ruled out with a right soleus strain. Williams could be closing in on a return, though, but he officially remains questionable ahead of Game 4 with a sore left hamstring.
Williams played in just 33 games during the regular season after he underwent offseason surgery on his right wrist. He's missed six games as a result of the hamstring injury he suffered during the first-round series against the Phoenix Suns . When do the Thunder play next?
