Rebilas-Imagn Images The Las Vegas Raiders hired the right offensive coordinator under new head coach Klint Kubiak. The Las Vegas Raiders had one of the most important decisions in their franchise’s history to make this offseason. Picking the wrong head coach could have set this franchise back even further than it already was.
Given its recent on-field failures and the repeated hiring of the wrong staff, this was beyond important. It's early, and there's no real way to know yet if Klint Kubiak was the right decision. But it certainly feels that way.
He's already got his fingerprints all over this roster. Kubiak has already put together a great staff. And surely it’s one that's better on paper than the one Pete Carroll assembled last year.
The defensive coordinator position was done the right way. While the OC position wasn't looked at as a big deal, it was done the right way, too. Andrew Janocko has everything they needed.
