Cathedral Prep's Ferretti, Moubarak win PIAA Class 2A doubles tennis tournament
Gavin Ferretti, in his final match for Cathedral Prep's boys tennis and Charbel Moubarak won PIAA Class 2A doubles tournament at Hershey.
Gavin Ferretti and Charbel Moubarak contributed to Cathedral Prep’s historical victory during last weekend’s PIAA Class 2A boys team tennis tournament. Before then, no program from District 10 achieved such a state title. Ferretti and Moubarak returned to Hershey Racquet Club for this weekend's state 2A doubles tournament.
The duo departed it with their second gold medals for as many weekends. Ferretti, in his last match for the Ramblers, and Moubarak defeated South Park seniors Jonah Jasek and Steven Duing 7-6 (9-7), 6-3 in their May 23 championship match.
