Galatasaray Offers $5.5M Signing Bonus to Beat PSG to Young Star
Galatasaray has made the first move for Lokomotiv Moscow star Alexei Batrakov, a PSG target. The Turkish club offers a $5.5M signing bonus to beat Paris and English clubs.
PSG is keeping an eye on Alexei Batrakov, the Russian gem of Lokomotiv Moscow. But the first club courting him has decided to strike hard. A great hope of Russian soccer, Batrakov is packing his bags and has a good chance of leaving Lokomotiv Moscow this summer.
His agent is stirring the market a lot, emphasizing that PSG and English clubs are courting him for a transfer. "PSG scouts were present at Lokomotiv matches. They were at his matches," Batrakov's representative said in the Russian press last month.
Parisian interest has since been confirmed in several European media outlets, as Luis Campos appreciates the profile of this attacking midfielder capable of organizing the game but also of being decisive. PSG is not the only one on the case, and Moscow will therefore be attentive to offers for a player under contract until 2029, valued at $22 million. And a first club has decided to try its luck.
According to Turkish media outlet Yeni Asir, Galatasaray has already contacted Batrakov to offer him a long-term contract with a hefty salary and a $5. 5 million signing bonus to convince him to commit quickly. At the same time, Lokomotiv would receive $22 million for the transfer of its international.
