Alvin Kamara scores as Banana Ball guest on a Neyland Stadium home run

Former Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara returned to Neyland Stadium to join the Savannah Bananas in Knoxville and quickly scored a run.

A Vol for Life familiar with the Neyland Stadium gridiron returned to the football field to find a baseball diamond May 23, joining the Savannah Bananas in entertaining roughly 101,000 fans in Knoxville. Coming into the game as a pinch runner โ€“ but first, a dance to โ€œWalk It Outโ€ by DJ Unk โ€“ five-time NFL Pro Bowl selection and former Tennessee Volunteers running back Alvin Kamara quickly scored on an inning-clinching run for the Bananas. The game kicked off with an opening pitch from Lady Vols softball star Karlyn Pickens .

The game, under Banana Ball rules, should end around 9 p. m. based on the two-hour time limit.
