Bryton Stroh, Peyton LaFramboise voted Argus Leader Athletes of the Week
Brandon Valley's Bryton Stroh and Harrisburg's Peyton LaFramboise were voted by readers as the Argus Leader's Athletes of the Week from May 11 to 16. Stroh won the boys Athlete of the Week with 56. 42% of the vote.
Stroh helped Brandon Valley to a perfect week, including two wins over Sioux Falls Washington in the Class A Super Regionals. The senior went 7-for-8 at the dish with a home run, two walks, five RBIs and six runs scored. LaFramboise won the girls Athlete of the Week with 52.
25% of the vote. LaFramboise ran her season home run total to nine with four more blasts in the last week. The junior went 12-for-17 at the dish over four games, knocking in 13 runs, scoring eight, drawing a walk and stealing a base.
