Winslow Townson-Imagn Images One Boston Bruins forward had a standout performance at the IIHF World Championships in Switzerland on Saturday. Lukas Reichel scored three goals and added an assist for a four-point game against Austria. Germany beat Austria 6-2 on Saturday afternoon, and Reichel’s second goal was the game-winner.

Ahead of the game, Reichel had three points (1-2–3) in the tournament, coming off a three-point showing (2-1–3) at the Olympics. He played on the first line alongside Josh Samanski and Frederik Tiffles . He also played on the power play, where he scored two goals.

After a scoreless first period, Austria took a 1-0 lead 2:22 into the period, and Reichel scored 66 seconds later. He collected a nifty backhand feed from Samanski and beat Austrian goaltender Atte Tolvanen high-glove side. Josh Samanski with an excellent feed to Lukas Reichel, and Germany is on the board.
