It’s no secret that Ortiz and White have not seen eye-to-eye over the years.
There was a time when the two men were friendly and shared the same business mindset when it came to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), but times change. Money and other friendships got in the way and now Ortiz and White find themselves on opposite sides of the spectrum. Things appear to be getting worse between Ortiz and White as the UFC CEO continues to snub the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” for event tickets.
Not only for general UFC events, but also for the much-anticipated White House event next month in Washington D. C. Ortiz, who has done a lot for UFC in the past, believes he should have been asked to attend the invite-only event .
Ortiz wouldn’t be the first fighter to be closed off from UFC’s White House spectacle. “I wish I was invited to the White House card, and I’m not,” said Ortiz during a recent interview with Tomi Lahren . “After the 16 years I gave to them, from the very beginning, when they first bought the company, to almost the end, where they sold the company.
