Seventh inning surge powers Ontario to first district title since 2023

Despite trailing almost the entirety of the game, Ontario never faltered and strung together a memorable seventh inning comeback.

" "Once I laid it down, I was nervous to run," Ireland added. "Then I was safe and I was really happy, all my teammates were cheering me on. " Her RBI bunt was followed by Saylor Smith's sacrifice fly to left field scoring Sophie Schuster and tie the game at four apiece.
