Fort LeBeouf's Glass wins PIAA gold in 2A boys 800 meters
Fort LeBeouf's Blake Glass won the Class 2A boys 800 meter run at the PIAA Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Glass, a senior for the Bison, won the Class 2A boys 800 meters during the PIAA track and field championships on Saturday afternoon at Shippensburg University. Holding second place heading into the bell lap, Glass took the lead and finished his race with a time of 1:53. 08, beating his seed time by over a second and besting Quaker Valley's Jonah Montagnese by two seconds.
Glass was the race’s top seed with a qualifying time of 1:54. 16. He recorded that mark during last weekend’s District 10 meet at Slippery Rock University.
