ROCHESTER — Rain couldn't stop Hilton in the Section V high school softball quarterfinals. No. 3 Hilton defeated No.
6 Spencerport, 10-9, in a Class AA1 battle. Timely hitting and quality defense helped the Cadets fend off both the upset-minded Rangers and the inclement conditions in which they played. A 9 a. m. first pitch at Greece Odyssey, however, did not deter the Cadets.
