RB Mason Ball commits to Kentucky, adding to Wildcats’ top-10 recruiting class

Mason Ball becomes the latest addition to Kentucky’s nationally ranked 2027 recruiting class.

Ball, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect from Jacksonville, Arkansas, chose Kentucky over Arkansas, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt. According to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Ball is ranked No. 737 nationally, the No.

57 running back in the country, and the No. 3 overall player in the state of Arkansas. The talented back is coming off a productive junior season where he rushed for 1,401 yards and 27 touchdowns while averaging 7.

61 yards per carry. He also added 17 receptions for 131 yards during the 2025 season. Ball becomes the third running back commitment in Kentucky’s 2027 class, joining Bryian Duncan Jr.
