Auburn signee Narcisse Ngoy wins Elite 2 League MVP Award
One of Auburn's front court signees ended his season in France with a prestigious honor.
One of Auburn basketball's newest additions will arrive on the Plains, coming off winning some major awards. Tigers signee Narcisse Ngoy was named MVP of the Elite 2 League in France , per Justin Hokanson of On3. Ngoy also won the league's defensive player of the year award.
Winning the MVP award should give Auburn fans a lot of hope for the 2026-27 college basketball season. The seven-footer will be part of a rebuilt front-court for the Tigers. Auburn picked up transfer portal additions at center with Owen Freeman from Creighton and Bukky Oboye from Santa Clara.
With Oboye and Ngoy, the Tigers will have much-needed rim protection they lacked last season. They also added forwards Thomas Dowd (Troy) and Adam Olsen (South Alabama). Ngoy had a great season for Poitiers, averaging 10.
