PFL Brussels video: Khamzat Abaev sleeps Luca Poclit after heated build
Watch Khamzat Abaev put away Luca Poclit in brutal fashion a day after their heated weigh-in staredown for PFL Brussels.
Khamzat Abaev and Luca Poclit built up high expectations for their fight at PFL Brussels, and boy, did it live up to its hype. Abaev (6-1) and Poclit (10-3) had easily the most heat entering Saturday's PFL event at ING Arena in Belgium, as the two had to be separated by security at weigh-ins after sparking a brawl during their staredown. Punches were thrown, and Abaev even nearly landed a kick before getting separated by several security men, and also PFL commentator and former UFC fighter Dan Hardy.
The heat followed through to the fight, as Abaev and Poclit quickly engaged on the feet. Abaev outpowered Poclit. He connected with an explosive left hook, dropped Poclit, and then followed up with some mean ground-and-pound to get the victory.
This was Abaev's first win under the PFL banner. He made his debut in July 2025, but unfortunately lost a decision to at Chequina Noso Pedro. Abaev lost his undefeated record that night in Brussels.
