Urban Meyer pulls no punches on how he feels about Michigan these days

While speaking on 'The Script' podcast, former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer admits he's lost a little respect for the Michigan program.

The Ohio State vs. Michigan rivalry never takes a break, not even during the offseason. If anyone should know that, it's former OSU head coach Urban Meyer, who just so happened to go undefeated against his arch-rivals, notching a 7-0 record against the maize and blue during his time in Columbus.

The Michigan of the last few years, though, isn't recognizable from what Meyer knew historically. While appearing on 'The Script' podcast, Meyer dove into his good friend, former Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham, taking over the Michigan program after Sherrone Moore was fired last season because of an alleged scandalous affair. And that was just the most recent scandal and news of transgressions Michigan has been involved in since the latter half of former head coach Jim Harbaugh's career in Ann Arbor.

Meyer admits that some of what he's seen from That Team Up North over the last few years has changed his opinion of the program a bit. "I've said this many times, and I know Cardale (Jones) knows this because I've said it to our players. Name another person who respects that school more than I do," Meyer said recently on the Cardale Jones and Beanie Wells' podcast.

"I'm including some people that have gone there. That's how much I respect that school. That's why we work so hard to beat them.
