We now know what caused the tragic death of Kyle Busch.
The family of late NASCAR racer Kyle Busch has shared with the public the cause of his death. Per a statement, Busch died of severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis that caused other complications. Busch died on Thursday at 41, shocking the racing world .
As one of the best drivers of his generation, Busch's loss is immense for the sport. Above that, he was only 41 and leaves behind a family. It's just an incredibly tragic situation all around.
In a silver lining, Busch's racing team will save his No. 8 for his son , Brexton, if the latter does carry on his father's legacy on the track with a NASCAR career. Statement from Kyle Busch family on what caused his death: "The medical evaluation provided to the Busch Family concluded that severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications.
