Former Lady Vol starts in Seattle's win over Connecticut in the WNBA.
Seattle (2-4) defeated Connecticut (1-6), 77-59, on Friday at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. Former Lady Vol Jordan Horston started for the Storm and played 22 minutes. She scored eight points and converted 4-of-9 field goal attempts.
Horston also recorded four rebounds and three steals. Zia Cooke did not start for Seattle and led all scorers with 25 points. Horston played at Tennessee from 2019-23.
She was a two-time All-SEC First-team selection and a two-time Associated Press and WBCA All-America honorable mention. Horston appeared in 114 games, including 91 starts, for the Lady Vols, recording 1,145 points, 731 rebounds, 455 assists, 109 blocks and 163 steals. She was named to the 2023 WNBA All-Rookie Team and was the No.
