Busch, 41, died on May 21 after being hospitalized earlier in the week in Charlotte. "The medical evaluation provided to the Busch Family concluded that severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications," the Busch family said.
"The family asks for continued understanding and privacy during this difficult time. " Busch was coughing up blood and had shortness of breath when emergency responders were requested at a General Motors facility in Concord, North Carolina, on May 20,ย according to a 911 call obtained by USA TODAY . โIโve got an individual thatโs (experiencing) shortness of breath, very hot and thinks heโs going to pass out and heโs producing a little bit of blood, coughing up some blood,โ the caller told the dispatcher.
