New York Giants named an underrated landing spot for WR Brandon Aiyuk

The New York Giants have been tabbed as an "underrated landing spot" for San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk.

Despite losing their most productive wide receiver, Wan'Dale Robinson, in free agency when he signed with the Tennessee Titans, the New York Giants have upgraded their passing game this offseason. In free agency, they added Calvin Austin, Darnell Mooney, and tight end Isaiah Likely. They also selected Malachi Fields in the third round of the 2026 NFL draft.

On paper, Big Blueโ€™s passing attack looks stronger than it did a year ago. However, even with these additions, Bleacher Report identified the Giants as an underrated potential landing spot for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who is reportedly on the trading block amid an irreparable relationship with the 49ers. The New York Giants have the makings of an excellent young offensive core in quarterback Jaxson Dart, running back Cam Skattebo and wide receiver Malik Nabers.

Unfortunately, all three suffered injury-marred 2025 seasons, and Giants head coach John Harbaugh acknowledged that while the team is hopeful Nabers will be ready for Week 1, it's not a certainty. It's not like Aiyuk would cost a lot in terms of draft capital. His arrival would alleviate some of the pressure on Nabers to rush back onto the field.

And once he is back, a Nabers/Aiyuk duo could blossom into one of the better one-two punches at the wide receiver position in the NFL. Mooney has topped 100 targets just twice in six seasons and has not had a 1,000-yard season since 2021. Darius Slayton has missed time in each of the past two years and recorded the second-fewest catches (37) of his career in 2025.
