The 2026 NFL Draft is long gone, free agency has slowed to a crawl, but teams are never done making moves. The Washington Commanders were busy this offseason, revamping one of the NFL's worst defenses, with an emphasis on becoming younger and faster. While the bulk of the roster is set, GM Adam Peters knows his work is never done.
There has been a lot of talk about Washington adding another wide receiver, whether it's Brandon Aiyuk, if and when he becomes available, or Stefon Diggs. But what if the Commanders make a trade? The 2027 NFL Draft is expected to be one of the more loaded classes in recent memory, and Peters could look to get a jumpstart on 2027 by adding more draft capital now.

J. Brown is unsurprisingly on the list, and so are other well-known veterans, such as Saints running back Alvin Kamara. Also on the list is Commanders defensive tackle Jer'Zhan Newton.
