Jalen Hurts, New Eagles OC Getting Off on the Right Foot
Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and offensive coordinator Sean Mannion's relationship has gotten off on a high note.
Things went so poorly for the Philadelphia Eagles last season that it ended up costing offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo his job. The Eagles had one of the more conservative offenses in the NFL , which frustrated not only their fans but several members of the offense as well. ESPN published a report after speaking with several anonymous team sources who seemingly blamed Hurts more than Patullo for the team’s struggles.
But Hurts is one of the highest-paid QBs in the NFL and a high-profile player — so he was never really going anywhere. The good news for Eagles fans, however, is it doesn’t look like 2026 will be a repeat of 2025. According to ESPN, Hurts seems to be hitting it off with new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, likely giving everyone in Philadelphia hope that things won’t be as dreary next season.

He’s accurate. He’s a great athlete. He really attacks the fundamentals.
