High school baseball, softball and soccer teams were in action.
BASEBALL West De Pere 2, Bay Port 1 DE PERE - The Phantoms handed the Pirates their first Fox River Classic Conference loss of the season. West De Pere scored a run in the third inning, Bay Port scored in the fourth to tie the game, then West De Pere scored the go-ahead run in the sixth inning. Holden Mulloy and Josh Kelly had two hits for West De Pere.
Ethan Collar and Sammy Berg drove in runs. Nolan Sell pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed four hits, walked one and struck out five.
Eli Hart had two hits for Bay Port. Carson Hawley had a hit and an RBI. Quinn Broeckman pitched six innings for Bay Port.
He allowed five hits, two runs (one earned), walked one and struck out two. Bay Port falls to 21-3 overall and to 16-1 in the FRCC. The Pirates were attempting to become the third team in FRCC history to have an undefeated conference season.
