No. 8 UCLA softball takes game one of Super Regionals 9-1 over UCF

UCF was no match for the No. 8 UCLA Bruins on Friday, with UCLA grabbing a 9-1 win in game one of the Super Regionals.

The start of the NCAA Super Regionals went well for the UCLA Bruins . UCLA smacked around UCF 9-1 in just five innings to take game one. UCLA needed just five hits to score the nine runs but the Bruins cruised to the game one victory.

With the win, the Bruins are 51-8 on the season and have now won four in a row. Despite the final score, UCF kept it close for most of the game. UCLA scored six runs in the fifth inning to bring the run-rule into effect, with Rylee Slimp ending things with a walk-off three-run home run.
