However, Kamara has dealt with multiple injuries over the last few years and his production has started to dip slightly. As a result, the Saints added Travis Etienne Jr.

in free agency this offseason. It seems like Etienne will be the lead back now, while Kamara is utilized on passing downs. However, it's also possible the Saints could see what Kamara is worth on the trade market as well.

Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report recently identified some realistic trade ideas ahead of the 2026 season. One of Davenport's proposals was Kamara to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick.
