Former Philadelphia 76ers guard Jared McCain makes an impact as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3.
With the Philadelphia 76ers ousted from the playoffs, now’s the time to check in on former Sixers around the league. There are a number of them competing in the conference finals in both the East and West at the moment. The Oklahoma City Thunder were able to knock off the San Antonio Spurs 123-108 in Game 3 on Friday night to retake control of the series with a 2-1 lead.
The Thunder received 26 points and 12 assists from MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but a certain former Sixers guard made a huge impact off the bench. Jared McCain, the No. 16 pick of the 2024 draft by the Sixers, finished with 24 points and four rebounds.
He was terrific as he gave Oklahoma City exactly what it was looking for in terms of production from the second unit. Jared McCain off the bench: 24 PTS +28 Made more shots than both MVP finalists @dmorey . pic.
