Defensive back Tavares Harrington, out of Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, pledged to the Wolverines via social media on Friday. Heโs the second Mount Carmel product to go maize-and-blue this month, following four-star wide receiver Quentin Burrell .
Harrington, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback in the class of 2027, ranks as the seventh-best player in Illinois, 15 th -best at his position and 124 th overall nationally, per 247 Sportsโ composite rankings.
