Caitlin Clark’s heated confrontation with Golden State forward Janelle Salaün instantly became the defining moment of the night. And honestly, it felt inevitable. The tension had been building throughout the game as Golden State played Clark physically from the opening tip.

Defenders crowded her space, bumped her constantly, and tried to disrupt Indiana’s offensive rhythm every chance they got. Then came the moment that changed the entire atmosphere inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Right before halftime, Clark swiped at the ball after Salaün secured a rebound.
