Si Woo Kim comments on how Scottie Scheffler was acting during the second round of the CJ CUP

Scheffler turned on the heat on his back nine at TPC Craig Ranch on Friday after making a fairly pedestrian start to his second round. However, Si Woo Kim fired a special second round 60, despite making a bogey on his final hole.

However, it was the 30-year-old South Korean who stood head and shoulders above his American rivals during the first two rounds of the tournament.

The South Korean was asked what role having Scheffler alongside him played in his success on Friday at TPC Craig Ranch. โ€œ Itโ€™s just always fun to play with him, โ€œ Si Woo Kim said.

โ€œ Scheffler and Si Woo are clearly very close friends and the fact that they both shot such great scores on Friday cannot be a coincidence. Scottie Scheffler says what it was like playing with Si Woo Kim The world number one spoke to reporters after his second round on Friday, and responded when asked what the atmosphere was like in their group. โ€œ We were just hanging out like normal, โ€œ Scheffler said.
