Potomac State alum's contract purchased by Minnesota Twins

WASHINGTON, Pa. — WVU Potomac State College alum Graham Brown had his contract purchased by the Minnesota Twins on Friday. Brown joins the Twins organization from the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League.

“Graham was everything you could ask for as a manager," Wild Things manager Tom Vaeth said in a press release. "He worked extremely hard, was a great teammate, and just an overall joy to have in the clubhouse. " Brown reached base in each of his first 11 games this season and had a 21-game on-base streak dating back to last season.

He also had a 17-game hitting streak snapped on Wednesday. Brown hit . 395 with two doubles, two home runs, six RBIs and seven stolen bases.

He spent two seasons at Potomac State from 2020 to 2021. In his sophomore season, he earned third-team All-American honors. Against Cecil, he hit for the cycle, going 6 for 9 with a homer, two triples, two doubles, seven RBIs and six runs.
