A €50m deal is agreed and should move forward quickly. If true, this is a massive win for Liverpool. The Reds are set to do battle with their old rivals in the midfielder market this summer over some of the best talents available.
But Liverpool don't appear to have been in the running for Ederson. They haven't been linked with him for a while now, with the likes of Adam Wharton and Aurelien Tchouameni seemingly 'bigger' targets. And both targets that United are linked with.
