NEW DELHI: Kolkata Knight Riders suffered a major setback ahead of their crucial do-or-die IPL 2026 clash against Delhi Capitals, with star wicketkeeper-batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi being ruled out of the remainder of the tournament. KKR issued an official update on Raghuvanshi, who has been one of their standout performers in IPL 2026. "Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been ruled out of 2026 TATA Indian Premier League after sustaining a concussion and a fracture to a finger on his left hand while attempting a catch during Kolkata Knight Ridersโs match against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday, 20 May," the statement said.
"We wish him a speedy and complete recovery," it added. Raghuvanshi featured in 13 matches in IPL 2026, scoring 422 runs at an average of 42. 20 and a strike rate of 146.
