Steelers insider hints at bad news for Jalen Ramsey, Patrick Queen's futures in Pittsburgh
An NFL insider believes Pittsburgh Steelers veterans Jalen Ramsey and Patrick Queen may not remain with the team beyond the 2026 season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be on the verge of losing two Pro Bowl defenders following the 2026 NFL season , at least according to insider Mark Kaboly. On Thursday, Kaboly claimed that Jalen Ramsey and Patrick Queen are likely playing their final season with Pittsburgh in 2026. "Thatโs a conversation to have.
We will see what happens after the season," Kaboly said via the Kaboly + Mack podcast. "I can pretty much assure you, well I donโt want to say assure you, but indications point heavily to Queen and Ramsey being gone after this year. " Queen, who signed with Pittsburgh on a three-year deal in March 2024, is set to become a free agent following the 2026 season and was linked to plenty of trade rumors this offseason.
Ramsey's future is murky for a different reason, however, as he's under contract through the 2028 season, but his cap hit jumps to $19 million in 2027 and $31 million the year after โ which is why Kaboly believes he won't remain with the team beyond this upcoming season.
