The No. 10 seed Georgia Bulldogs softball team lost 3-1 in Game 1 of the Knoxville Super Regional against the No. 7 seed Tennessee Volunteers .
Both Georgia and Tennessee had seven hits, but the Volunteers did a better job of converting their opportunities in Game 1. Georgia doesn't have much time to dwell on the result as Game 2 is coming on Friday afternoon and the Bulldogs are facing elimination. Tennessee has a chance to advance to the Women's College World Series with a win on Friday.
