Baseball: TCU falls to Kansas State in Big 12 tournament, postseason hopes in jeopardy

The Horned Frogs drop to 33-21 on the season.

TCU baseball didn’t do its postseason hopes any favors on Wednesday. With a 9-4 loss against Kansas State in the second round of the Big 12 tournament, the Horned Frogs finish the regular season and tournament play with a 33-21 overall record. TCU, which sits on the bubble for a postseason seed, will find out on Monday whether or not it made the NCAA tournament.

Mason Brassfield entered in relief, but the left-hander was roughed up for four runs in just over an inning on the mound.

Trever Baumler also struggled on the mound, giving up five hits and two runs over nearly three innings of relief. Former TCU pitcher Cohen Feser earned the save for K-State. Frogs are on the board!
