De Zerbi confirms injured Spurs star could be ready to start Everton clash Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that Dominic Solanke could be back ready to start for Spurs, but he is still unsure on how many minutes James Maddison can play against Everton in their final match of the season. Dominic Solanke has been out since Spursโ€™ 1-0 win over Wolves in April with a hamstring injury meaning Spurs have only had three fit attackers in Randal Kolo Muani, Richarlison and Mathys Tel. James Maddison played his first minutes of the season in their draw against Wolves, but is still yet to start a game for Spurs since he suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury against Arsenal in pre-season.

Tottenham know that if they can avoid defeat against Everton they will secure their spot in the Premier League next season so will need as many players back fit as possible. โ€œSolanke is available for tomorrow, we have to decide if he starts in the first 11 or not, and Maddison is available,โ€ he said. โ€œHeโ€™s always tough and decides before the game how many minutes he can play.

Of course, heโ€™s a different player, heโ€™s a top player for us, but we have to analyse the physical condition, the Italian weather, but yeah, both are available. โ€
