The injury occurred at an indoor practice due to rain, per ESPN. Robertson-Harris, who'll turn 33 in July, was entering his tenth season in the NFL and second with New York.
He signed a two-year, $9. 75 million deal with the Giants prior to the 2025 season. The defensive lineman started all 17 games for Big Blue in 2025, making 35 total tackles (19 solo, 16 assisted) with six QB hits and one pass defended.
He was expected to start again in 2026 after New York traded away star DT Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of the NFL Draft. To fill that gap on the D-line, New York signed veterans DJ Reader ,ย Shelby Harris ,ย andย Leki Fotu in free agency and drafted Auburn's Bobby Jamison-Travis in the sixth round. Robertson-Harris was originally signed by the Chicago Bears in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP.
He played four years in Chicago before spending three-plus seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and then another 11 games with the Seattle Seahawks in 2024. Overall, the DT has made 246 total tackles and 19 sacks across 134 career games (79 starts).
