Kyle Busch wishes son happy birthday in last social post before tragic death

The death of Kyle Busch has rocked the world of motorsports . The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion passed at age 41 on Thursday after dealing with a serious illness . In a statement the day prior to his death, Busch's family kept fans abreast of his concerning health situation and confirmed he'd miss Sunday's Coca-Cola 600.
“Kyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization," the statement posted on Busch's X account read. "He is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation.
” The death seemingly came out of nowhere. Just three days ago, Busch posted a heartfelt tribute to his 11-year-old son, Brexton, on Instagram. It's the last social media post he ever published.
"Happy Birthday Brexton!!! Your mom & I are so proud of who you’re turning out to be! You’re the best kid on & off the track, you amaze us every day," Busch wrote .
