It is time to get your thumbs ready once again. The Athlete of the Week, presented by our friends at Glen Oaks Community College, is once again live. It may seem like a strange time to be posting the athlete of the week poll, and you may be right, but in moving it around so far this spring I am gaining some information on when is best to have it going next year on a consistent basis.
I promise you it's for something good here. Anyway, with seniors being done at local high schools and the school year coming to a close, I pushed this week's back to Friday. It's Memorial Day weekend and plenty of people will be on their phones for a variety of reasons, I thought this might be a good time to have the athlete of the week poll posted for people to vote.
Not all ideas are good ones, but I think it's worth a shot. The poll will be open until Monday evening at 7 p. m.
