High school tennis, baseball, softball and soccer teams were in action.
BOYS TENNIS Fox Valley Association Championship Neenah won the conference tournament with 55 points to edge second-place Kimberly and third-place Appleton North, which finished with 49 and 48 points, respectively. The Rockets have won outright or shared the FVA title every season since 2000. Oshkosh West was the last team besides Neenah to win the title, with the Wildcats winning in 1999.
Oshkosh North shared the title with Neenah in 2002 and 2004. Neenah had first-place finishes in the conference tournament from Mercer Moss at No. 3 singles and Nicholas Zenzick at No.
4 singles. Colin Meixl of Kimberly was the No. 1 singles champion, while Cale Vogel of Appleton West won No.
2 singles. VOTE NOW: Choose from six nominees for Cellcom Post-Crescent athlete of the week Reid Potter and Gavin Steiner of Oshkosh West took first at No. 1 doubles.
