High school softball, baseball, soccer, golf and tennis teams were in action.

SOFTBALL Green Bay Preble 2, Sussex Hamilton 0 GREEN BAY - Tenley Kuehn shut down the Chargers on three hits and one walk while striking out eight as the Hornets hung on for the nonconference victory in a battle of undefeated teams. Preble scored its two runs in the fourth inning. Maya Darmawan led the Hornets with a triple, while Kuehn and Hannah Von Haden had Preble’s other hits.

Bitsy Palicka pitched the complete game for Hamilton, striking out 12 batters. De Pere 18, Menasha 2 MENASHA - The Redbirds used the big inning to cruise past the Bluejays in nonconference action. De Pere scored five runs in the first inning, four in the second and nine in the fourth.

Menasha scored its two runs in the bottom of the first. Allie Frederiksen was 3-for-3 with a homer and six RBIs, while Jaelyn Craig was 2-for-3 with two homers and four RBIs for the Redbirds. Also powering the De Pere offense were Micah Zirbel and Bella Robinett with three hits, including a double, while Payton Spaeth, Nataleigh Piper and Emma Baugnet had two hits each.

Denmark 11, Ashwaubenon 1 DENMARK - The Vikings scored three runs in the second inning, two in the third, two in the fourth and four in the fifth en route to the nonconference win. The Jaguars scored their run in the top of the fourth. Emma Kozloski had Ashwaubenon’s lone RBI.
