Crystal Palace announce Littlejohn and Bailey departures Crystal Palace have announced the news that midfielder Ruesha Littlejohn and defender Zara Bailey will be leaving the club this summer. The Eagles revealed their latest summer departures via a post on their official club website just a short time ago. Veteran midfielder Littlejohn joined Crystal Palace last September after leaving Shamrock Rovers in her native Republic of Ireland.
The 35-year-old has gone on to make seven appearances for the South Londoners in all competitions. Littlejohn’s experience has been important both on and off the pitch as Crystal Palace secured an immediate promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League. Young defender Bailey also signed for Crystal Palace in September 2025, joining The Eagles following a period with Tottenham Hotspur’s Professional Game Academy League side.
She has made one appearance for Crystal Palace whilst gaining some vital experience in and around a senior playing squad. Four players are leaving Crystal Palace this summer. Midfielder Chloë Arthur and attacker Indiah-Paige Riley are also moving on with their departures having been confirmed earlier this week.
Crystal Palace secured their immediate promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League with a 6-1 victory over Portsmouth on the final day of the Barclays WSL2 season. The Eagles claimed the second automatic promotion place.
