Freiburg star Johan Manzambi comments on future amid interest Johan Manzambi (20) has enjoyed a breakout season at Freiburg which ended with the Breisgau club losing the UEFA Europa League final against Aston Villa (3-0). ” When asked about playing against players such as Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins, Mazambi added: “It’s nice to play against such players but on the pitch, we completely forget about that – I just want to win. ” Manzambi has scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 47 games across all competitions for Julian Schuster’s outfit this season, which resulted in a call-up to Switzerland’s World Cup squad. “He has an incredible hunger for goals, I’ve rarely seen that in a player,” said Murat Yakin, Switzerland’s head coach.
