National pundits’ flubs while criticizing Bengals go viral

Yahoo Sports

The national media has some negative things to say about the Bengals, alongside some funny stuff too.

There’s some pushback on the Cincinnati Bengals right now. Joe Burrow’s recent comments about contending for a Super Bowl with what he feels like is the best roster yet for his era of the Bengals were always going to be met with some resistance. For Bengals fans, the criticism of the Bengals is nothing new.

Oftentimes, they joined right in on the action. But this time, a few national takes came with some funny mistakes that fans were quick to point out. There was, for example, Michael Wilbon on “Get Up” disagreeing with the Bengals even being favorites in the AFC North…while alluding to a first-round pick they made this year: Hey @RealMikeWilbon please tell me more about the defensive player the Bengals drafted in the first round that’s going to have to contribute immediately.

They really put these people on national TV when they don’t know what they’re talking about. https://t. co/M0IiUP388C pic.
