Did Titans do enough to help Cam Ward in 2026?
The Tennessee Titans have been quite active in player movement this offseason, but have they done enough to help Cam Ward?
When the Tennessee Titans drafted Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, everyone was excited. He entered the facilities with an air of professionalism, treated everyone with respect, talked to everyone he encountered (including the janitorial staff), and made his presence known around the building.
His rookie season may not have been what some expected, and there are a lot of reasons for that, but his performance showed that he truly has the potential to be an elite quarterback in the NFL. Before that can happen, though, the Titans have to make sure he has the support he needs on the field. A recent CBS Sports article by Jared Dubin addresses the biggest question for each of the 15 first-round picks from 2025, and the question for Ward is fitting: Did the Titans get Cam Ward enough help?
Ward had one of the worst supporting casts in the NFL last season. His pass-catchers couldn't get open and struggled to actually catch the ball when they did. The offensive line was seemingly broken for most of the year.
Tennessee addressed the first part of that equation by signing Wan'Dale Robinson and drafting Carnell Tate with the No. 4 overall pick. But did the Titans do enough on the offensive line to make sure Ward has enough time to find his targets down the field?
