Alexander-Arnold out of England’s list for the World Cup -report
Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to miss the upcoming FIFA World Cup as the right-back will not make Thomas Tuchel’s squad list for the tournament, according to a report from The Athletic’s David Ornstein. Although the official list hasn’t come out yet, Ornstein is always very reliable and has reported Tuchel’s final squad, with Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham included on it. It has been a rough season for Alexander-Arnold and him missing a few squad lists made sense during the winter.
However, he’s stayed healthy lately and has played at a decent level, so it’s safe to assume that he’s just not on Tuchel’s plans because of his playing style. The English defender will surely try to have a bounce-back year for Real Madrid next season to prove his doubters wrong.
