This news feels refreshing given the turbulent stretch inside the organization. In the wake of this announcement on Thursday, Schoen’s quarterback son from the 2028 recruiting class, Carson Schoen, shared his outlook on the extension. He feels excited and believes the Super Bowl is not far away.

“Proud of you dad!! Ring chasing 💍” he wrote on X. Schoen joined the Giants in 2022.

He previously served as assistant GM for the Buffalo Bills. After making the playoffs in 2022, the Giants have struggled, compiling a 22-45-1 record across four seasons. In 2025, they finished disappointingly (4-13).
