Prince Andrew: Police Give Update on Report Woman Taken to Windsor for Sex
Thames Valley Police are investigating Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on suspicion of misconduct in public office
Police investigating Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on suspicion of misconduct in public office have said they have spoken to the legal representative of a woman after reports she was taken to an address in Windsor for sexual purposes. Thames Valley Police said in a statement on Friday: โIn addition to the investigation into misconduct in public office, the assessment of reports that a woman was taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes is ongoing. โWe have engaged with the womanโs legal representative to confirm that, should she wish to report this to police, it will be taken seriously and handled with care, sensitivity and respect for her privacy and her right for anonymity.
โWe recognise how difficult it can be to speak about experiences of this nature, and any contact with police will be led by her wishes, when and if she feels ready and able to do so. โ According to the BBC, which reported the claims in February, a formal investigation into those reports has not been opened. Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied wrongdoing in relation to his association with Epstein.
This is a breaking news story. Updates to follow. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, attends Katharine, Duchess of Kentโs Requiem Mass service at Westminster Cathedral on September 16, 2025 in London, England.
