Along with the established two-year contract, Stafford will be looking at a massive pay bump moving forward, as he can make up to $60 million with incentives. While it was known that Stafford and the Rams were close to locking down a contract with more money to keep him as the starting quarterback for at least two more years, their recent first-round selection in the NFL Draft cast some doubt.

He is also an underrated athlete with impressive mobility, which can be further developed and refined within a Rams organization that has done remarkably well with QBs over the past decade.
