De la Fuente will announce his squad on Monday and Bernal has his fingers crossed after making an impressive return from injury this season. “I would like to go there.
Representing a country is the best thing for a footballer,” he told Catalunya Radio. “I’m not ruling myself out yet. For now, I’m not making any plans for the summer until the final list comes out on Monday.
” De la Fuente has confirmed he will call up 26 players and there could be a few surprises on his list. The Spain boss is expected to include a host of Barca stars but will be without Fermin Lopez after he underwent surgery on a fractured metatarsal this week.
